Search for assets without contact and dormant assets also possible electronically since 1 February 2022

If you believe yourself to be entitled to assets deposited at a bank, but don’t know at which bank, one option is to conduct a search via the Swiss Banking Ombudsman’s office. An authorised person for such a search is the client of a bank or the legal successor of a deceased or missing client or the representative of such a person.  You can submit your search request directly online on our website https://bankingombudsman.ch/en/central-search/.
