The Swiss Bankers Association has elected Ms. Brigitta M. Gadient as President of the Swiss Banking Ombudsman Foundation as of 1 January 2021. She succeeds Annemarie Huber-Hotz, who passed away unexpectedly on 1 August 2019.
Brigitta M. Gadient was National Councillor of the Canton of Grisons from 1995 to 2011. She runs her own office for legal, organisational and strategic consulting in Chur. She is also active in various organisations, including as President of the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons, President of Switzerland Tourism and Vice-President of the Swiss Red Cross.
